Women's Prayer Circle will meet Wednesday, July 28 at 7:30 pm in the church library: please join us for a time to reflect, offer support to one another and, through group prayer, to offer support to the world around us. LPPC annual Outdoor Worship Service at Sandia Mountain Retreat, Sunday, August 8: Please join us for our summer outdoor worship service at the Sandia Mountain Retreats (www.sandiacamp.org). There will be no church worship service that day. We will be meeting at the church to carpool together - please check back here for more details.

The Church Office will be closed on Mondays during the summer season: Cory will be in office Tuesdays - Fridays, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Summer Worship is at 9:15 am through the end of August: we will begin our summer schedule with one service only at 9:15 am. Nursery services will continued to be offered.

CPR class Wednesday, August 4 at 5:30pm: The Placitas Volunteer Fire Department (PVFD) is hosting a free CPR class at their location on Highway 165 (adjacent to the new library) . If you are interested, you may register by contacting PVFD at 867-5080.

Casa Rosa needs your help: the following items are not currently available from Roadrunner: personal care items such as shampoo, toothbrushes & toilet tissue, as well as non-perishables like canned meats, canned fruit, and canned goods that are considered a main meal such as beef stew or hearty soups. Casa Rosa needs your empty egg cartons and brown paper grocery bags: Please help us repack eggs that are received in open crates. We would also be happy to recycle your brown paper grocery bags. Please place them in the blue bins across from the offices. Thank you very much!

Spanish Bibles are available in the church office: If you would like to purchase a Spanish Bible or a copy of the Contemporary English version Bible, copies are available in the Fellowship Hall for $7.00 each. Thanks to the Christian Education Committee for making these available.

Mission Committee Quilt is finished: Please view the beautiful quilt, made by the women of LPPC, which is up in Fellowship Hall. Raffle tickets are available for $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. There are 1,000 tickets to sell between now and the drawing on December 5th of this year. If anyone would like to sell tickets or if you know of places that the quilt can be displayed, contact Nancy U. through the church office at 867-5718. Sale of the quilt will support LPPC Mission projects.

The LPPC Membership Committee needs your help to collect that LPPC historical documents: We are collecting any documents from church members that have relevance to our history. If you have anything at home such as letters between long-ago church members, pastors, any old programs or other paperwork that would help us preserve our past, please give to Wendy Ingram. Emmet Thorpe will copy items onto archival quality paper and they will be stored appropriately. The originals will be returned to you. Thank you for your contributions!
